Training and Technical Assistance

Members of NCSCHA are often asked to provide training and assistance to others in their communities and across the state. Six members have participated in a National-State Partnership Training of Trainers grant awarded by the National Assembly on School-Based Health Care to the NC Division of Public Health School Health Center Program in partnership with NCSCHA. Trainers have presented at national meetings, the NCSCHA Annual meeting, at regional meetings, and at related workshops within their communities. Powerpoints used by the trainers are in the Resources section of the web site.

The NCSCHA office offers assistance in locating and scheduling school health center trainers from its membership or Alliance administration for various educational programs. The Alliance also alerts members to training and grant opportunities that become available either on-site or through the internet.
